The Abhaile Project universal design principles were recognised and commended at the IDI Awards 2017 held by the Institute of Designers in Ireland. The design entered by Ciarán Ferrie Architects, a director of the Abhaile Project, was recognised for it’s unobtrusive and clever design proposal.
The projects overriding principal is to ensure that the home is adaptable to the future needs of the homeowner while doing this in a reversible and unobtrusive manner.
